Is acupuncture covered by insurance?

Many insurances are accepted, including Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO/EPO, WellCare Medicare, HealthNet, Oxford (with alternative medicine rider), MVP Gold and MVP GoldAnywhere, and no-fault (auto accident) insurance. Many health insurance plans have discount programs that Stephanie participates with, such as Empire Plan, CDPHP, and GHI. Some insurance companies will reimburse you for your acupuncture visits. Call your insurance company to find out their policy.
